Next steps
December 2024 is approaching. This means that Joseline Amutuhaire-Ondrusek will soon be in Rushooka.
With a big to-Do-List to keep up the Day Care:
- setting up progress reports on how the children are doing & what they are learning
- information material for parents concerning the curriculum
- providing teaching materials
and many things more
How many children?
We will started with 5 children.
Right now there are 33 children in our daily care
We could easily reach our maximum of 45 children, if we had the means to finance a second teacher
Volunteers
We are always looking for volunteers,
who will come and help to keep the day care going,
who want to teach the children in a playful way,
who want to learn from the children, the village, the country.
What we need
- Pens and paper
- Toys, puzzles and games
- Cups, plates and spoons for the children's refectory
- table and chair for the Head teacher
- Photocopy machine
Many of these things have to be bought locally.
